Alabama Waterpark to Host Adults-Only Night – Because Parents Deserve Fun Too!
Parents, it’s time to book a babysitter and reclaim a night of fun—just for you! Alabama Adventure and Splash Adventure in Bessemer is introducing its first-ever Adults-Only Waterpark Night on May 23, offering a unique evening where grown-ups can let loose without the kids in tow.

The event, running from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., is exclusively for guests 21 and older, ensuring a relaxed, child-free atmosphere. "Waterparks aren’t just for kids—adults deserve some fun too!" said Alex Ramsay, the park’s marketing manager.
What to Expect at Adults-Only Night
Guests can enjoy a variety of attractions, including the wave pool, lazy river, and thrilling slides like Neptune’s Plunge. To keep the energy high, a live DJ will set the vibe, while classic yard games such as cornhole and giant Jenga will be available for friendly competition.
For food lovers, the park plans to bring in food trucks to serve up delicious eats, and yes—alcohol will be available for purchase to make the night even more exciting. Additionally, the park is working on a hotel partnership to offer a shuttle service, making it easier for guests to enjoy the evening worry-free.
Tickets & Community Buzz
While ticket prices have not yet been finalized, Ramsay confirmed they will be lower than the park’s standard $45 admission, given the event’s shorter duration and waterpark-only access.
The announcement, first made on Facebook on February 27, has already gained massive traction, receiving over 6,000 likes and 4,000 shares. The overwhelming response suggests high demand, and Ramsay hinted that this might not be a one-time event.
"If everything goes well, we’d love to bring this back regularly," he said. "It’s clear people are excited for a night of waterpark fun, minus the little ones!"
