Hip-Hop Star Cardi B Announces Pregnancy Following Divorce Filing

Cardi B made headlines on Thursday with a surprising announcement on Instagram: she's expecting her third child, just a day after filing for divorce from fellow rapper Offset.
The 31-year-old hip-hop sensation shared a heartfelt message directed to her unborn baby.
"With every ending comes a new beginning!" she wrote. "I am so grateful to have shared this season with you. You have brought me more love, more life, and most of all, renewed my power! You've reminded me that I can have it all and that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can't wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns, and tests lying down, but you, your brother, and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!"
Cardi B and Offset already share two children: daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 2.
According to PEOPLE, a representative for Cardi confirmed that she had filed for divorce from Offset.
This isn't the first time the couple has faced challenges. Cardi B first separated from Offset, 32, in 2018. She filed for divorce in 2020 following reports of his alleged infidelity, but the couple reconciled just two months later.
