[TheChronicle.cc] Red Bay, Ala – The Red Bay Fun Park is a major draw for the area, attracting visitors from across state lines and even international borders.

Local businesses, including shops and restaurants, see significant benefits from the influx of tourists, according to park staff.

Parks and Recreation Director Dean Hubbard reported that the park welcomed over 10,000 visitors in 2023, averaging about 150 visitors daily.

The park's operations are largely funded through grants. Hubbard mentioned that the park is set to receive an additional $300,000 grant, with plans to add new pickleball courts, slides, and trails.

Since its opening in 1972, the Red Bay Fun Park has been a cornerstone of the community and plans to continue its legacy for many years to come.
