Homicide Investigation Underway in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – A hómîcide investigation is currently underway in Montgomery following a shóotîng incident.
According to a police spokeswoman, officers discovered two gûnshót vîctims, both women, in the 600 block of Iris Lane shortly after 7 p.m. on Thursday.
One woman was pronounced dèad at the scene and has not yet been identified. The other victim sustained a non-life-threatening gûnshót wound and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
No additional information has been released as the investigation is ongoing.
