The honors, announced Thursday, spotlight institutions that have shown exceptional dedication to helping students excel and expand their academic horizons.These recognitions come as part of the state’s broader initiative to strengthen college readiness and career development.From increasing enrollment in AP and dual-credit courses to boosting participation in workforce education programs, Alabama’s schools are steadily nurturing a new generation of ambitious, well-prepared students. The awards were determined through a collaboration between the A+ Education Partnership and the Alabama State Department of Education, both of which have worked to advance high academic standards and equitable opportunities across the state.
