A Small Electorate Battleground State Could Have a Major Impact, Potentially Dealing a Significant Blow to Harris This November.

Despite having only six electoral votes, the purple state of Nevada could significantly impact Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign and open a pathway to victory for former President Donald Trump, experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

While Nevada has leaned blue since 2008, the competition between Trump and Harris is becoming increasingly close in this key swing state, which could be detrimental for Harris. Although Nevada's electoral significance is smaller than that of other battleground states, its distinct economy and demographic characteristics might play a crucial role in determining the next president, according to experts interviewed by the DCNF.

"There are very few paths to victory that don't include Nevada," said Dheeraj Chand, a Democratic strategist, in an interview with the DCNF.

"It would be a significant setback for her if we secure those electoral votes," McLaughlin added.
