Since launching her presidential campaign on July 21, after President Joe Biden dropped out and endorsed her, Harris’s approval rating has risen over 7% to 45.7%, according to the FiveThirtyEight polling average. On “The Chris Cuomo Project,” Cuomo argued that it’s misleading to present Harris as an exceptional candidate, given her past unpopularity and flaws. He expressed his disagreement with shielding her from criticism simply because she’s facing Trump.
