Shooting in Southwest Birmingham Injures Two

A shooting occurred on Birmingham's west side, injuring two people.
The incident took place at 8:04 p.m. on Wednesday in the 700 block of 30th Street S.W.
Sgt. LaQuitta Wade reported that one victim was driven by a private vehicle to Princeton Baptist Medical Center, while the other was taken to UAB Hospital by Birmingham Fire and Rescue.
Details on the severity of their injuries are not yet available.
Additionally, there was a report of gunshots fired into a nearby occupied home.
