One Fatality in Shooting at Mobile Gas Station: Police Investigation Underway

A shooting outside a Chevron gas station in west Mobile has resulted in one fatality, according to local police. The incident occurred at approximately 10:11 p.m. on Thursday at the Chevron located at 4126 Moffett Road.
When officers arrived, they found evidence of gunfire hitting a vehicle, a gas pump, and a nearby residence. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the home.
The victim, a male, was taken to a nearby hospital by a personal vehicle and was later pronounced dead. Police have not yet released his identity.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the shots were fired from a vehicle that had entered the gas station’s parking lot. Mobile police are seeking assistance from the public in solving this case.
