Ohatchee Man Arrested for Alleged Murder of Parents in Calhoun County
Tyler Sage Ferguson, 35, was arrested after allegedly shooting his parents, Randall and Debbie Ferguson, at their home in Ohatchee, Calhoun County.
In a tragic incident on Saturday, Calhoun County deputies responded to a distressing 911 call from a residence on Taylor Road in Ohatchee. The caller, later identified as 35-year-old Tyler Sage Ferguson, confessed to shooting two people, according to a report from the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department.
Upon arrival, deputies detained Ferguson, who resided at the home. A search of the property revealed a horrifying scene: Randall Ferguson, Tyler’s father, was found deceased on the ground, while his mother, Debbie Ferguson, was discovered on the back porch with a critical gunshot wound. Debbie was immediately transported to Gadsden Regional Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Both victims were also residents of the home. Tyler Ferguson has been taken into custody at the Calhoun County Jail and is facing two charges of murder.
