Guntersville's Julyon Jordan Commits to South Alabama
Guntersville High School's standout running back, Julyon Jordan, has officially committed to South Alabama, he revealed on Monday.
Standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing 175 pounds, Jordan had a range of options from prestigious Power 4 conference schools. Offers from Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Virginia, and Troy were also on the table before he made his decision in favor of the Jaguars.
Jordan's commitment marks the seventh for South Alabama's 2025 recruiting class and the third from an in-state talent. Other in-state recruits include LeFlore's offensive lineman Antonio Gibbs and Opelika's defensive lineman E’Mauri Smiley.
The early signing period for the 2025 class is set to begin in December.
