Alabama school board member and pastor arrested on DUI charges in Georgia

A member of an Alabama school board who is also a church pastor was arrested on DUI and other charges in Georgia.

 

Rev. Brady Baird, pastor of Seale United Methodist Church in Russell County and a member of the Phenix City Board of Education, was taken into custody Monday in Muscogee County, Georgia, as reported by WTVM.

 

Attempts to contact the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office and Seale United Methodist Church for comments were unsuccessful.

 

A spokeswoman for Phenix City Schools stated that the district does not comment on personal legal matters.

 

Baird faces charges of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended or revoked license, according to WTVM.
