Vic Moten, the reigning Miss Softball, is making headlines with her decision to transfer from Daphne High School to T.R. Miller High School.
Moten was instrumental in leading Daphne to the Class 7A state championship game last season. Her remarkable performance on the field garnered significant attention, and she is now in the process of making a big move to T.R. Miller.
Last season at Daphne, the Alabama commit dominated the circle, achieving state-best stats with 35 wins and an impressive 463 strikeouts, averaging 15.3 strikeouts per seven innings. Her pitching prowess was further highlighted by 22 shutouts, 17 no-hitters, and a state-leading three perfect games. Moten's 0.46 ERA was the best in Class 7A and the second-best statewide, with opponents managing a mere .079 batting average against her.
Moten's talents extend to batting as well. She hit 15 home runs, drove in 43 RBIs, scored 63 runs, and drew 30 walks. Her batting average stood at .407, with a .524 on-base percentage, an .800 slugging percentage, and a 1.324 OPS.

While the transfer is not yet official, Daphne coach Jenny Laird confirmed that Moten is in the process of making the switch to T.R. Miller.
