Score the Cheapest Seats for Lauryn Hill’s Alabama Show!
Alabama fans of Lauryn Hill will finally get to see the concert that was postponed from 2023 when she comes to the Orion Amphitheater on September 4, 2024. She will perform songs from her only solo album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” and will also perform with the hip-hop group The Fugees, featuring Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel. Her album was recently named the best ever made by Apple Music, surpassing classics like Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” The Beatles’ “Abbey Road,” and Prince and The Revolution’s “Purple Rain.”

Interestingly, Hill began her career as a teenager, acting on the soap opera “As the World Turns.” She also played Rita in the film “Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit” before joining the Fugees.
At the 41st Grammy Awards, Hill received 10 nominations in one night, the most ever for a female artist at the time. She also became the first rapper to win Album of the Year that night. In 1999, she was the first rapper to appear on the cover of Time magazine and was honored by the NAACP with a President’s Award for her humanitarian work.
