Rapper Leaves Plane After Airline Downgrades His Ticket: "I Feel Disrespected"

Rapper Juvenile recently faced a frustrating situation on an American Airlines flight. He claims that his first-class ticket was downgraded to a coach seat while he was already on the plane heading to Fort Worth, Texas.

Juvenile shared his experience on Instagram Live, expressing his anger at the airline. He said, "I’m a celebrity, and there will be consequences. I won’t let them disrespect me like this. I won’t let them pick me out of everyone on the plane. I’m getting off this plane."

He then exited the plane while still streaming live on Instagram. As he left, he mentioned, "I usually fly Delta or private jets. I don’t fly with this terrible [expletive] airline anyway."

Later, Juvenile posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) to formally complain to American Airlines. He showed several instances of flying with the airline and spending money with them, saying, "First class? I know a thing or two about first class. Look at this—it's all first class."

He added, "They tried to put me in coach. I’ve never flown coach. Forget them."

Juvenile also tweeted, "I feel disrespected @AmericanAir, but you won't get away with this. I’m boarding another airline right now, so Fort Worth, I’ll see you soon."

In response, American Airlines’ official X account replied, "We don’t want you to feel this way when you travel with us. Please DM us your confirmation code so we can look into what happened."

Despite the trouble, Juvenile made it to his show in Fort Worth, Texas.

Just last week, Juvenile performed in Birmingham at Iron City as part of his "Back That Azz Up" 25th Anniversary Tour with DJ Mannie Fresh and the 400 Degreez Band. He is currently touring across the U.S. to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his album "400 Degreez," which went 4-times platinum with hit songs like "Ha" and "Back That Azz Up." Juvenile is also known for other popular songs like "Slow Motion," "Project Chick," and "Hot Boys."
