McDonald’s Unveils Nostalgic “Collector’s Meal” Featuring Iconic Collectibles

Do you remember the excitement of collecting McDonald’s memorabilia in your younger years? McDonald’s is tapping into that nostalgia with a brand-new limited-time offering designed to delight fans old and new.

Starting August 13, McDonald’s will introduce the “Collector’s Meal,” a special promotion featuring six exclusive collectible cups. Each cup pays tribute to iconic McDonald’s collectibles from the past, allowing fans to relive cherished memories.

A recent press release reveals that the collectible cups spotlight memorable McDonald’s keepsakes, such as the Cowpoke McNugget Buddy from 1988 and the McDonald’s Dragster from 1993.

Morgan Flatley, McDonald’s Global Chief Marketing Officer and Head of New Business Ventures, shared, “There’s something special about finding that rare McDonald’s collectible or completing a cherished collection. With these new collectible cups, we’re bringing back some of our most beloved designs and global collaborations, allowing long-time fans to reminisce and helping a new generation create their own lasting memories.”

The Collector’s Meal is available throughout the day. Each meal includes one collectible cup and offers a choice of breakfast options: a Sausage McMuffin with Egg, Hash Brown, and coffee, or, for the rest of the day, a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac with fries and a soft drink.

• Barbie & Hot Wheels: A modern take on classic Mattel toys.
• Beanie Babies: Celebrating the 90s craze with favorites like Golden Arches Bear.
• Coca-Cola: Featuring updated Coca-Cola designs celebrating past collaborations with McDonald’s.
• Hello Kitty & Peanuts: Capturing the essence of friendship with Hello Kitty and Peanuts characters.
• Shrek, Jurassic Park & Minions: Showcasing scenes and characters from these iconic film franchises.
• McDonald’s: Highlighting nostalgic keepsakes like Boo Buckets and Funny Fry Friends.
