Missing and endangered person alert issued for 84-year-old woman who disappeared in Gulf Shores

State authorities issued a missing and endangered person alert on Wednesday for an 84-year-old woman who was last seen on Tuesday morning in Gulf Shores.

Janis Uthe was last spotted around 9 a.m. in the vicinity of Oyster Bay Lane. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency noted that she may be experiencing a condition that could affect her judgment.

Uthe may be traveling in a silver 2019 Kia Sorrento with Alabama license plate 2151BJ5. She is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with gray or partially gray hair and brown eyes.
