Huntsville Issues $10 Million Permit for New Building on Cabela Drive

Huntsville has issued 26 commercial building permits this month, totaling nearly $30 million. The biggest permit is for a $10 million new construction on Cabela Drive.

The project, located at 7026 Cabela Drive NW, is being built by Hollis & Spann, a company from Dothan. They focus on constructing buildings for hotels, including Marriott, Hilton, and Choice Hotels in the Southeast.

Other significant permits include:

  • Two permits for new $2.5 million buildings at 6407 and 6409 U.S. 431 in Owens Cross Roads, with Fite Building Co. as the builder.
  • A $2.2 million renovation at Boeing Co., 499 Boeing Blvd. DPR Construction is handling this project, which includes a $15 million expansion for Boeing that started in December.
