Morgan County, Alabama – A fatal accident on Friday night prompted the closure of a segment of Highway 67 in Morgan County as authorities launched an investigation.
The incident occurred on Highway 67 near Crawford Bottoms, just south of Florette. Responding to the scene were sheriff’s deputies, EMS, and volunteer fire departments, who worked to manage the situation.
As a result of the crash, traffic was rerouted. Northbound vehicles were redirected to Crawford Bottoms, while those heading southbound were detoured onto Entrekin Road. The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office advised drivers to avoid the area if possible or to prepare for delays.
