Two New GolfSuites Locations Set to Open in Alabama Next Year
GolfSuites is gearing up to introduce its first Alabama location in Opelika, with construction scheduled to commence on August 13, 2024. The facility will be part of The Landings, situated at the southeast corner of Gateway Drive, U.S. 280, and Interstate 85.
Spanning over 11 acres, the one-story, 6,400-square-foot venue will boast 40 hitting bays, a restaurant and bar, an outdoor covered patio with a stage, a putting green, and meeting rooms. Opelika marks the fourth national site for GolfSuites.
The second Alabama location is planned for Hoover. Positioned at the southwest corner of Interstate 459 and John Hawkins Parkway in Stadium Trace Phase II, this GolfSuites facility is expected to open by summer 2025.
GolfSuites currently operates successfully in Tulsa, Lubbock, and Baton Rouge.
GolfSuites Co-Founder Ryan Koenig is collaborating closely with The City of Opelika, while Chief Operating Officer Scott McCurry is preparing management for the grand opening.
Opelika Mayor Gary Fuller emphasized the project’s impact, stating it will offer a comprehensive entertainment venue with driving ranges, replicated greens and hazards, restaurants, bars, and live music events. "It is going to be a game-changer for Opelika," said Mayor Fuller.
Broad Metro Founder Will Kadish highlighted the project's importance, noting it reflects a commitment to enhancing local strengths and ensuring wise use of city economic development resources.
Broad Metro, the developer behind Hoover’s Stadium Trace Village, recently announced plans for the development’s second phase, with completion projected for 2025.
