Former WWE and UFC Star Ronda Rousey Announces Pregnancy

Ronda Rousey, the renowned former WWE and UFC star, has revealed that she is expecting her second child. Rousey, 37, made the announcement during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday.

Already a mother to her 2-year-old daughter, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō, and a stepmother to her husband Travis Browne’s two sons from a previous marriage, Rousey shared the joyful news with the Comic-Con audience. The panel was moderated by fellow wrestler and actor Dave Bautista.

Reflecting on her new endeavor as a graphic novelist, Rousey said, “This experience in itself has been so rewarding, and with your support, I hope to continue to be a graphic novelist,” referencing her debut graphic novel, "Expecting the Unexpected," as reported by Page Six. She humorously added, “It doesn’t attack my body as much, so maybe I can keep doing this until I’m an old lady — or at least while I keep popping out these babies!”

Rousey and Browne tied the knot in August 2017 and welcomed their daughter La’akea in 2021.
