Future Olympic Destinations: A Glimpse Through 2034

With the Paris Olympics now part of history, the world’s attention shifts to Italy, the host of the upcoming Winter Games. The 2026 Winter Olympics will unfold across Italy from February 6-22, with the majority of events centered in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. This marks the fourth occasion Italy has welcomed the Olympics, following the 1956 Winter Games in Cortina d’Ampezzo, the 1960 Summer Games in Rome, and the 2006 Winter Games in Turin.

Upcoming Olympic Venues:

• 2026 Winter Olympics – Italy: The Italian Alps, particularly Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, will set the stage for the 2026 Winter Olympics from February 6-22. This event marks Italy’s fourth time hosting the Olympic Games, continuing its legacy as a premier destination for winter sports.

• 2028 Summer Olympics – Los Angeles: The Summer Olympics return to the United States in 2028, with Los Angeles hosting for the third time, following the 1932 and 1984 Games. Los Angeles will reintroduce baseball and softball to the Olympic program, along with debuting new sports like flag football, cricket, lacrosse, and squash.
