Authorities issued an emergency missing child alert late Thursday for a 12-year-old boy who went missing earlier that day in Bayou La Batre.
Kaiden Vail, last seen around 10 a.m. Thursday near South Wintzell Avenue, was reported missing by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Kaiden was wearing khaki pants, a red shirt, and possibly a blue jacket. He is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 100 pounds, with hazel eyes and blonde or strawberry blonde hair.
