Damien Harris Joins Alabama Football Broadcasts; Changes Announced for “Hey Coach” Radio Show
Discover the latest updates from the Crimson Tide Sports Network, including Damien Harris as the new sideline reporter for Alabama football and the “Hey Coach” radio show’s move to Wednesdays with new host Kalen DeBoer.
Exciting updates are on the horizon for the Crimson Tide Sports Network (CTSN) this fall.
Former Alabama running back Damien Harris will be stepping in as the new sideline reporter for Alabama football games, taking over from Christian Miller. Harris will join the broadcast team, which includes Chris Stewart as play-by-play announcer, Tyler Watts as analyst, and Tom Stipe as engineer.
In addition to this change, CTSN has revamped the “Hey Coach” radio show. The show will now air on Wednesdays under the guidance of new coach Kalen DeBoer, replacing the previous Thursday slot held by Nick Saban. The revamped show will air from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. CT and will feature DeBoer, Stewart, and a featured Alabama player. Previously, Saban's version of the show included a host and a media guest.
The first episode of the revamped show is set for August 14, though Coach DeBoer will make his debut on August 28, just days before Alabama's season opener against Western Kentucky on August 31.
