San Mateo, California – Neighborhoods across the Bay Area are gearing up for the annual National Night Out, a nationwide initiative launched in 1984 to strengthen local connections and foster positive police-community relationships. This Tuesday, residents can look forward to an evening filled with music, games, delicious food, and opportunities to interact with local law enforcement.
Each city has planned its own unique set of events. In Palo Alto, celebrations will take place at Eleanor Pardee Park and Bol Park, creating a vibrant atmosphere for families and friends. Redwood City will host several activities from 6 to 8 p.m. at locations including Stafford Park, Maddux Park, and Mezes Park, featuring face painting and live music.
Menlo Park residents can enjoy block parties at local spots like Cafe Zoe and Kelly Park. Atherton’s community gathering will take place at Holbrook-Palmer Park, promising a joyful evening of camaraderie.
