Talbots, a women’s clothing store, is set to close its location at 243 Summit Blvd. on Saturday, Oct. 26. A notice in the store encourages shoppers to visit the nearest Talbots at The Shoppes at Eastchase in Montgomery or browse online.
This location offered a variety of women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories, and Talbots still operates in Huntsville, Tuscaloosa, Mobile, Spanish Fort, and Foley.
Recently, the Summit has welcomed several new retailers, including American Eagle, the menswear store Mizzen+Main, the jewelry brand gorjana, and luxury men’s clothing store Peter Millar.
