Trump Unveils New Tax Policy for ‘Family Caregivers’ at Energetic NYC Rally

Former President Donald Trump announced a new tax break for “family caregivers” during his speech at a packed rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday evening.

“I’m introducing a new policy today to support a tax credit for family caregivers who look after a parent or loved one,” Trump told the crowd of approximately 20,000 attendees.

“It’s about time they receive the recognition they deserve. They contribute so much to our country, yet they are often overlooked. But that’s going to change now. Thank you very much,” he added.

At the Republican National Committee Convention in July, the party's platform emphasized enhancing Medicare and increasing support for family caregivers through “tax credits and reduced red tape.”
