Steve Madden announced Thursday that it is accelerating efforts to shift production out of China in response to anticipated tariffs from President-elect Donald Trump once he assumes office, according to Bloomberg.
During a company earnings call, the New York-based retailer revealed it now plans to cut its reliance on Chinese manufacturing by 40% over the next year, up from an earlier target of just 10%.
