**Academy Sports + Outdoors Unveils New Store on U.S. 280 in Birmingham**

A brand-new Academy Sports + Outdoors location is set to open this week in Birmingham, featuring a refreshed layout and design that distinguishes it from other stores in Alabama.
The 45,000-square-foot store at 4610 U.S. 280 marks Academy’s 16th location in the state.
To celebrate its grand opening, the store will host four days of special deals, including free gift cards for the first 150 customers aged 18 and older from Friday through Sunday.
Shoppers can also enjoy discounts such as 50% off Magellan Outdoors apparel, a $99.99 OG Bronco Charcoal Grill, and 25% off all shoes and socks.
Additionally, there will be demonstrations and giveaways from brands like Duckett Fishing, Crocs, HeyDude, CAT, Brooks, Wolverine, and Stealth Cam.
Academy Sports + Outdoors is among the largest sporting goods and outdoor retailers in the country, with a total of 291 stores nationwide, headquartered in Katy, Texas.
