Former First Lady Melania Trump defended her pro-choice position on abortion in an interview released Friday on the "Some Future Day" podcast.
She highlighted her status as the first Republican First Lady to openly support abortion rights, stressing her belief in women's rights and individual freedoms during her conversation with podcast host Marc Beckman.
"I feel and believe that individual freedom is the most important aspect of life. You need to be in charge of your own body—nobody else but yourself," Melania Trump stated.
She referenced her young adulthood as a key influence on her views.
