Bath & Body Works faced a wave of customer backlash after releasing a scented Christmas candle that some found racially insensitive.
Social media users dubbed the candle the "klandle" due to its snowflake design, which reportedly resembled the white hoods worn by Ku Klux Klan members. The KKK is a white supremacist hate group that originated in the U.S. following the Civil War, according to NBC News.
