You can now vote for the best high school football player in the Birmingham area for Week 2. Fans have the power to choose the Hollis Wright Birmingham Player of the Week from the top performances in the area.

Make sure to cast your vote before the deadline at 5 p.m. on Wednesday. The results will be posted on Thursday, so don’t miss out on supporting your favorite player.

Players are nominated by their coaches or selected based on game reports from news.

Here are the standout players up for the vote:

• Brock Bradley, Spain Park: Completed 17 of 24 passes for 320 yards and 3 touchdowns, including an 87-yard pass. He also added 7 runs for 17 yards in the win over Hoover.

• Romello Cooper, Chelsea: Recorded 9 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss (TFL), and 2 sacks in the win over Wetumpka.

• Casen Field, Vincent: Completed 7 of 12 passes for 144 yards and 2 touchdowns, leading a 94-yard drive in the fourth quarter to secure the win against B.B. Comer.

• Aaron Frye, Clay-Chalkville: Completed 16 of 20 passes for 305 yards and 4 touchdowns, with an additional 38 yards on 6 carries in the win over Ramsay.

• Owen Robinson, Hewitt-Trussville: Recorded 11 tackles, including 3 sacks and a TFL in the win over Gadsden City.

• Jeremy Spratling, Helena: Rushed 26 times for 126 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win over McAdory.

• Terence Tubbs, Center Point: Made 5 tackles, 3 sacks, and returned an interception 97 yards for a touchdown in the win over Fultondale.

• Spencer Unruh, Corner: Rushed for 249 yards and 3 touchdowns on 16 carries and added a 96-yard kickoff return in the win over Dora.
