Hailing from Mobile, Alabama, Lacy made a name for himself at South Alabama, where he set a new program record in 2023 with an impressive 91 receptions, amassing 1,316 yards and scoring seven touchdowns over 12 games. These achievements placed him sixth nationally in both receptions and yardage, highlighting his talent and consistency.
Lacy, who played his high school football at Faith Academy in Mobile, was one of the most prominent players to leave South Alabama via the transfer portal. His legacy with the Jaguars is undeniable, holding the school’s all-time record with 207 receptions, totaling 2,517 yards and 13 touchdowns across four seasons.
