Just The Trailer For ‘American Murder: Laci Peterson’ Will Make You Feel Disturbed

Netflix released the trailer Tuesday for “American Murder: Laci Peterson” and it is one of the most disturbing things you’ll see this season.

The three-part docuseries will follow the “disturbing disappearance [and] murder of Laci Peterson in 2002,” according to the official description. Peterson was reported missing from her home in California while eight months pregnant with her first child. Her remains were uncovered in the San Francisco Bay, with law enforcement building a case around her killer: her husband, Scott Peterson, according to the full synopsis.

Scott Peterson was convicted of murdering his wife more than 20 years ago but is now facing a new trial, according to Parade. He’s maintained his innocence to this day after pleading not guilty at trial.
