Alabama’s NFL Single-Season Records Hold Strong in 2024
Despite an impressive season from former Alabama stars, the Crimson Tide’s all-time single-season records in the NFL remain untouched in 2024.

Derrick Henry, now with the Baltimore Ravens, rushed for an outstanding 1,921 yards, ranking 11th in NFL history for a single season. However, this fell short of his own record of 2,027 yards, which he set in 2020 while playing for the Tennessee Titans.
Similarly, Tua Tagovailoa had a dominant 2023 season with the Miami Dolphins, setting records for completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns among Alabama alumni. However, no Tide quarterback in 2024 was able to surpass those numbers.
The oldest Alabama record still standing belongs to legendary Green Bay Packers receiver Don Hutson, who caught 17 touchdown passes in 1942. This year, DeVonta Smith led all former Alabama wide receivers with eight touchdown receptions for the Philadelphia Eagles.
