Legal Group Files Suit Against State Department, Demanding Records on Alleged Censorship by Biden-Harris Administration

The U.S. Departments of State and Commerce, along with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), are accused of withholding records related to the Biden-Harris administration's alleged involvement in global censorship, according to a lawsuit filed by America First Legal (AFL).

The conservative group initiated the lawsuit on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, alleging that the agencies unlawfully concealed information regarding the arrest of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov and Brazil's actions to censor social media, as stated in a press release.

The Daily Caller previously reported that AFL submitted FOIA requests to investigate whether the Biden-Harris administration had prior knowledge of or involvement in Durov's arrest and Brazil's crackdown on Twitter.
