Victoria Jackson, the well-known former cast member of "Saturday Night Live," has disclosed a terminal cancer diagnosis in a recent YouTube video. The video, titled "Is the Cancer Back?" marks a poignant moment as Jackson, 65, shares her challenging health news.
In the video, Jackson explains that the cancer has become inoperable. “They can't remove the tumor that's pressing against my windpipe, which could eventually lead to suffocation,” Jackson revealed. “Instead, I’ll be receiving a special medication delivered to my home within the next 12 hours.”
The actress confirmed that her current cancer is a recurrence of the breast cancer she battled nearly a decade ago. She added, “I researched the medication online and found that it suggests a prognosis of about 32.6 months for those who take it.”
Jackson has been surrounded by controversy in recent years, including a notable protest in 2023 against a Pride parade in Tennessee, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.
Jackson was part of the "Saturday Night Live" cast from 1986 to 1992.
