Lauren-Michael Sellers, a singer from Alabama now living in Nashville, auditioned for Season 26 of "The Voice." Even though her full audition hasn’t aired yet, a preview video shows her receiving positive comments from Snoop Dogg, one of the celebrity coaches.

Sellers is a pop-country singer and songwriter, originally from Birmingham, Alabama. She has a powerful voice and has been part of viral music projects like Songhouse, where she released a song called "Take Me Back."

Sellers has been a key figure in Birmingham's music scene for over a decade. She was the lead singer and songwriter for the folk-rock band, The Heavy Hearts, formed in 2013. The band released their debut album, Keep Your Light On, in 2014 and performed at various venues around Birmingham.

In addition to her music, Sellers is well-educated, holding a master’s degree in education. She has also worked as a behavior specialist in Birmingham City Schools.

As she competes on "The Voice," Sellers follows in the footsteps of other Alabama singers who’ve found success on the show. Notably, Asher HaVon, another Alabama native, won Season 25 as part of Team Reba. More than 30 singers from Alabama have competed on the show over the years, making their mark in the competition.
