On ABC’s “This Week,” Stephanopoulos pressed Johnson on Eric Trump’s comments, which he argued unfairly implicated Democrats in the near-assassinations. He asked Johnson if it was appropriate to assign blame in this manner, especially after Johnson had called for both parties to reduce their "rhetoric."
