U-Haul — the moving truck company that started in Ridgefield, WA — has released its 2024 mid-year report on migration trends , tracking the origins of U-Haul trucks arriving in the 25 most populated cities in the US, including the Bay Area. So, where are folks coming from? According to U-Haul, here are the top three metropolitan areas outside our state that people are moving to the Bay Area — San Jose/San Francisco/Oakland — from:
