New Eatery Kaizen Lounge Coming to San Jose

A recent permit application reveals that the former owner of Freddie J’s Bar & Lounge—a well-loved, brick-walled bar in San Jose—is launching a new dining venture in the city.

Kaizen Lounge will open at 33 E San Fernando Street, situated near popular spots like EggHead Sando Cafe, Paper Plane, and Rec Room.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Freddie Jackson, the owner of the upcoming restaurant, for details about Kaizen Lounge. While Jackson confirmed the name of the establishment, he did not provide further information before the publication deadline.

Given the restaurant’s name, it’s likely that the menu will feature Japanese cuisine.
