SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 21, 2024--

Stratford Schools, a leading network of private preschools through grade 12 in California, is marking a milestone 25 years of providing innovative education. From its modest beginnings in 1999 with a single campus in Danville—comprising just four classrooms in a church—Stratford Schools has expanded to over 30 campuses across the state. Today, it serves more than 9,000 students and employs over 1,300 educators and administrators annually.

“We are deeply honored to have dedicated the last 25 years to offering children across California an outstanding education and a nurturing environment,” said Sherry Adams, Founder of Stratford Schools. “Our mission has always been to establish Stratford as a premier institution that inspires students to think critically, achieve their potential, and succeed in their unique futures.”

Stratford continues to grow, with a new early education campus set to open in Santa Clara this October and a second high school planned for Milpitas in fall 2025. The school network is also expanding its programs to better serve current families, including early preschool options for children as young as 2 years old, and Mandarin bilingual programs. To prepare students for a globalized world, many campuses now offer Mandarin alongside Spanish, which is introduced in preschool.

Throughout 2024, Stratford will celebrate its 25th anniversary with special events at various campuses, featuring guests and activities for the entire school community. Upcoming celebrations include events at Stratford San Jose Middle School on August 23 and Stratford San Francisco De Montfort School on August 24.

Stratford Schools is known for its advanced STEAM curriculum, providing a comprehensive education in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. The school is committed to fostering a love for learning and excelling in both STEAM and the fine arts, while also focusing on exceptional service and strong partnerships with parents.

Beyond academics, Stratford Schools is dedicated to community service through its Stratford Cares initiative. The network actively participates in fundraisers and community drives, including a longstanding partnership with the American Heart Association, to which over $1.7 million has been donated. Stratford students play a key role in organizing and choosing community outreach efforts.
