Sid Wilson, known from the 1990s rock band Slipknot, was hospitalized over the weekend after suffering serious burns from an explosion.
In a video shared from his hospital bed, Wilson reassured fans, saying, "I had an explosion in my face. I’m OK. I’m gonna be OK, but I did have some serious burns to my face and arms." He mentioned that his eyebrows were singed, his lips blistered, and his arms also affected.
His wife, Kelly Osbourne, daughter of legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, took to Instagram to explain what happened, saying, "This is why you don’t mess with burn piles. He literally set himself on fire and exploded everything."
Despite the injuries, Wilson remains optimistic, telling fans, "I’m going to be alright, you guys."
Slipknot also released a statement on their social media, informing fans about the incident and confirming that Wilson plans to join the band on stage at Rocklahoma next weekend. They expressed their gratitude for the well wishes and assured everyone that Wilson is recovering with his family.
