Orange Beach reaches regional final for the first time in school history after defeating Straughn in hard-fought fashion.

After experiencing heartbreak in last year’s regional game, Orange Beach seized the chance to create better history. "We get in games like this, and we have to grind it out," said Orange Beach head coach Mike Chase. "We’ve played eleven games this year against 6A and 7A opponents, so our November and December schedule prepared us to succeed in this situation. I am very proud of the effort that our team put forth today.” With the victory, Orange Beach advances to the regional championship game and keeps their focus on winning a state championship.
