Favorite Childhood Memory: Pretty much any time I could get in front of people and perform. Whether that was dancing in recitals, singing at the school talent show, or putting on plays for my family in the backyard. I found my calling early in life.

What do you like most about Alabama: The weather. I am so thankful to no longer suffer through a cold Chicago winter every year!

What do you love about the South: The people. Southern Hospitality is very real! I have never lived in a place surrounded by such friendly, warm, and genuine people who really care about the community!

Favorite Place in Alabama: Birmingham! This city is an absolute gem. I was skeptical of my move here at first but it won me over quickly. It continues to grow and pleasantly surprises everyone who has come to visit me.

Favorite Place in the South: The Gulf has some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to. And I am a total beach bum. Being a short drive from them is one of Birmingham's blessings! @visitalbeaches

Your mentor: I have been blessed to have so many wonderful teachers and coaches that got me where I am today, But the person I turn to for advice over and over again is my mother. Who also happens to be my best friend.

What you wish you could tell your 20 year old self: Still in my 20s so this is still a constant internal dialogue. But I would tell myself that it will all work out. Worry and stress less about the future and just enjoy the present. Also, keep applying that sunscreen.
