An employee at a southwest Pennsylvania restaurant reportedly restricted Republican Ohio Senator JD Vance's entry on Saturday, prompting supporters to step outside to greet him.
Vance visited Primanti Brothers in North Versailles Township to connect with his supporters, but according to NBC News reporter Gary Grumbach, a staff member stated that cameras were not permitted and that they did not want a "campaign event."
Video footage captured a tense atmosphere, with a presumed patron claiming that Vance's supporters inside the restaurant were canceling their food orders and leaving after learning he was barred. The video also showed what seemed to be Vance’s SUV waiting in the parking lot.
