Girls Volleyball Season Preview 2024

Last season, the Paly girls' volleyball team ended with a 3-1 playoff loss to Rocklin, finishing with a 27-6 record and an undefeated 12-0 in league play. They excelled in the De Anza League, thanks largely to senior captains Reine Schultz and Kylie Yen, who were pivotal to the team's leadership. 

"Last year, we lost six seniors, including two captains," junior Marley Shumaker noted. "Replacing their energy and team spirit will be a challenge." 

Despite losing six players, the team is bolstered by new talent and remains optimistic. 

"We're entering the year with high confidence," senior Sophie Pan said. "Most of the starters are back, and we’re excited for the season opener against Branson on August 29th at home."
