Alabama High School Football Player Critically Injured During Game

A high school football player from Alabama, Caden Tellier, suffered a severe brain injury during a game between Morgan Academy and Southern Academy in Selma.
Caden, who plays as the quarterback for Morgan Academy, was airlifted to UAB Hospital, where he is currently being treated, according to Dr. Bryan Oliver, the head of Morgan Academy.
Michael McLendon, the executive director of the Alabama Independent School Association, shared a few statements with news on Saturday morning, expressing deep concern.
“At AISA, we are a close-knit family of schools, and our hearts are heavy,” McLendon said.
In response to this tragic incident, Morgan Academy has decided to suspend all school activities for the upcoming week. This pause will allow the community to come together, reflect, and support each other during this difficult time.
