A 16-year-old boy lost his life following a crash involving a 4-wheeler and a vehicle on Thursday night in North Alabama.
The incident occurred around 8 p.m. at the intersection of Cedar Street S.W. and Graham Avenue S.W. in Decatur. According to police, a vehicle traveling west on Cedar Street collided with a 4-wheeler heading south on Graham Avenue.
Both the driver and passenger of the 4-wheeler were thrown from the vehicle. The driver was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The passenger was also taken to Huntsville Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
