Stray Bullet Hits TV Reporter at Democratic Senate Campaign Event
A stray bullet struck a Missouri TV reporter on Tuesday during a campaign event for Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Lucas Kunce.
Kunce was campaigning at a private shooting range when a bullet reportedly ricocheted off a target and hit KSHB-TV reporter Ryan Gamboa, as reported by The Kansas City Star. Kunce, the only person shooting at the time, immediately rushed to assist the injured reporter.

The Senate candidate fashioned a makeshift tourniquet from his belt and wrapped it around Gamboa’s arm to stop the bleeding. The reporter's arm was later secured with medical tape.
